Technology
Nanofique hybrid fibres
Nanofique is a nanostructured bio-composite material which can degrade a wide range of textile dyes from wastewater. During this process, the dye is degraded and not simply absorbed by the fibres.
Our product removes colour and associated toxicity in minutes. The integrated treatment process can be tailored to dramatically reduce all water quality parameters such as COD, BOD, TDS, TSS as per requirement.

Nanofique application
Cages containing the nanofique material will be placed inside the nanofique reactors.
The treatment system:
- delivers faster treatment, minimising capital equipment.
- requires less space than conventional treatment systems.
- provides a cost-effective solution through reduced footprint.
- utilises standard-sized nanofique cages, with quantity of cages specified based on required volume.
Sustainability
The nanofique process produces no sludge and is an important step towards ‘cradle to cradle’ water recycling.
Spent nanofique is readily biodegradable.
